He believes at the core of every conflict is the failure understand where the other side is coming from. Having walked in the shoes of both sides, having represented both defendants and plaintiffs on each side, provided Brad with special understanding of where each side is coming from.
Having this unique understanding and trying to see both sides helps him ultimately bring each side together. Equally as important as having an understanding where a client might be coming from is having the respect of counsel. Over the last 30 years Brad has litigated and tried through jury verdict just about every type of case, be it Business, Real Estate, Employment, Sexual Harassment, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, etc. and every subset thereunder. Having been there done that helps him work with counsel on both sides because counsel is crucial to the resolution process because they are the advocate/advisor for the client.
Understanding where counsel is coming from is just as important as understanding what the client is looking for when settling a case. In his spare time Mr. Knypstra splits his time between Newport Coast, CA and spending time at his ranch in Park City, Utah where he enjoys all outdoor activities especially fishing and hiking.

Time as a Trial Lawyer
Once I went back into the practice of law, I wanted to be the best trial lawyers I could be. I began trying one case after another. Later, I was one of 50 attorneys nationwide to be invited by Gerry Spence to attend his Trial Lawyer College near Jackson Hole Wyoming. From that point on, I tried through jury verdict just about every type of case, be it Business, Real Estate, Employment, Sexual Harassment, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, etc. and every subset thereunder. Having been there done that helps me work with counsel on both sides to get their settled.
